Ofgem has announced a 7% cut to the energy price cap from July to September, lowering the average dual-fuel household bill to £1,720 a year – saving around £129. Standing charges are also being reduced by £19 annually.
This is largely thanks to falling wholesale prices and greater efficiency from suppliers. While prices remain higher than in 2022, they are now 28% below the early 2023 peak.
But lowering your bills doesn’t stop there.
Improving the energy efficiency of your home – through better insulation, solar panels, and smarter heating solutions – can significantly reduce your long-term energy costs.
That’s where we can help. We support homeowners and landlords with tailored energy efficiency upgrades, including access to funding, trusted installers, and advice on reducing consumption.
Now’s the time to combine falling prices with smart upgrades for a more affordable, sustainable future.
