We’re thrilled to see Ashden and the Green Finance Institute (GFI) powering forward with the Let’s Go Zero campaign, a bold, national movement supporting UK schools to become zero carbon by 2030.

With over 6,170 schools already participating, this campaign isn’t just tackling climate change, it’s transforming how our children learn, live, and lead in a low-carbon world.

A key part of this effort is GFI’s new roadmap, which outlines innovative solutions to help unlock private sector investment — a crucial step in bridging the estimated £16.3 billion gap needed to retrofit and decarbonise the UK’s school estate.

This plan could be a game-changer:
