The Home Heating Cost Reduction Obligation (HHCRO).

Shropshire Green Energy Centre are a local company that has been working in the energy sector for many years and is able to offer energy efficient products including Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation, First Time Central Heating and Broken Boiler Replacements.

We have secured ECO3 funding for specific measures where the properties / tenants criteria can be assessed to see if a grant can be allocated. We work directly with more than one of the large national energy suppliers and are in a position to offer substantial funding towards energy efficient measures. If you also require a new EPC following the installation, we can also arrange this (POA).

Flexible Eligibility / LA Flex / Statements of Intent (Sol) from local councils – Home Owners

Each council has (or are in the process of) published their criteria to help more people access funding. Through their own research the council has put together a statement of intent for their resident’s needs and to help those that are in fuel poverty. We are helping local councils to maximise the uptake of energy efficient measures in their area.

A boiler cap was introduced during this scheme but there is limited funding still available, the grant will provide a new A rated boiler for the property and reduced install costs.
Please note that not all Local Authorities have published a SoI.
